Recently, a question came up about how my dog got the name Kalli. She’s named after a character in my book Rodeo Nights. My previous rescue collie was named after the hero in the book, so it seemed fitting to name her after the heroine.
On the other hand, I refuse to be limited to that one name. 😉 Thought I’d share some of the names I call her … and would love to hear what you call you dog or cat!

You with the tail. Lmao. Love that one. Poor Kalli. She must be saying, What’s with all the name calling. Lol.
I am so glad I’m not the only one who has a zillion names for my furbabies! You with the fur, is another for me! I know I call them a billion names but all three are mostly obedient and come when I call them. If they are deciding they’re not being stubborn. Thank you Patricia, I enjoy your books and blogs all the way from Australia!
